Privacy First: New Privacy Toggle
Privacy First: New privacy toggle in Settings allows you
to opt out of data collection entirely. When disabled, all
your game data stays local on your device and nothing is
sent to our servers. Your choice, your data, your privacy.
Toggle it anytime with the new "Share game data for
leaderboards" setting or use the
/data command during
gameplay. Privacy-conscious nerds, this one's for you!
Streamlined Word Set Selection
UI Update: We've streamlined the word set selection! The word set selector has been moved from the game area into the settings panel for better organization. Access all word sets (English, Finnish, Swedish, Programming, Nightmare) through the settings panel or with the /lang quick command.
Keypress Sounds Added
New feature: We've added satisfying keypress sounds to enhance your typing experience. Each keystroke now produces a subtle audio feedback that helps you maintain rhythm and flow during intense typing sessions. The feature is fully customizable - toggle it on/off in the settings panel or use the quick command /sound during gameplay. Whether you prefer the zen silence or the tactile satisfaction of audio feedback, the choice is yours, nerds!
Space Between Words Feature
New feature: We've added a more realistic typing experience with an optional space-after-word setting. Toggle this feature in the settings menu to practice typing spaces between words, just like in real-world typing. This helps build proper typing habits and gives more accurate WPM measurements. The choice is yours: traditional word-by-word mode or the complete typing experience with spaces. Which will you master first, nerd?
Zen Mode Integration
UI Update: Zen Mode is now integrated directly into the game settings! No more switching between pages - simply toggle Zen Mode on/off in the settings panel for a seamless transition between pressure-based and relaxed typing experiences. This streamlined approach keeps all your gameplay options in one convenient location. Enjoy the simplified experience, nerds!

Score Calculation Overhaul
Update: We have completely changed how the score is calculated in ClassicMode. The scoring system should now ensure that your results are comparable across different game modes and difficulty settings. Check the INFO page for more information! Quick Commands for Classic Mode
New feature: Quick Commands for Classic Mode! Now you can customize your typing experience without opening the terminal. Just type a slash followed by a command—like '/mode hard' to switch difficulty or '/setinitial 15' to adjust starting energy. Language Selection in Classic Mode
Major update: Language Selection now available in Classic Mode! Choose between Finnish, English, Swedish, Programming, and Nightmare word sets without changing pages. Achievement Ranks Introduced
Introducing Achievement Ranks! Your typing skills now have a clear progression system. Each Classic Mode game tracks your highest achievements in Speed and Accuracy, ranking you from Initiating (Rank 1) to Quantum Speed (Rank 5). Whether you're a Digital Runner or aiming for Neural Master status, your typing prowess is now quantified and celebrated. Check out your highest achievements on the ScoreChart and push your limits!
Codenames Are Live
New feature: Codenames are now live! Every hacker needs a signature, right? We've added username support across all game modes. Create your digital identity, mark your territory in the scoreboard, and let everyone know who's dominating those typing charts. Real-time Character Feedback
New feature: Real-time character feedback! Ever typed something and wished you could see exactly where you went wrong? Well, now you can! We've added character-by-character highlighting that shows you exactly which keys you're nailing and which ones need some love. Orange for perfect hits, red for those rebellious misclicks, and gray for the keys waiting their turn. It's like having a tiny typing coach right in your browser! Accuracy Tracking Added

We're dashing through the snow towards Christmas, and to get you into the festive spirit, we've just added a magical batch of Finnish Christmas-themed words to the "Suomi" game! From traditional "tonttu" (elves) to the sweet aroma of "pipari" (gingerbread) and the warmth of "glögi" (mulled wine), these new additions will bring the cozy Nordic Christmas feeling to your typing practice.
